The Meltdown of the Economy

Hello and welcome to this blog. I will start just by saying that thanks to those greedy CEO's who have made the economy of the United States not only a mess, but a totally "meltdown" that would take years to come back to solid state. It is ridiculous to learn that the former CEO of Lehman Brothers made $106M while the company was suffering from a potential breakdown. Now the question is, are there any other CEOs doing the same?. The government should take actions to protect all of us from the greedy people who are taking advantage of the hardworking ones and who are destroying the economy no only in the US, but worldwide. Every single working family, myself included, fears on how we would end up tomorrow because we don't know exactly if we will affort to put our children into college, we don't know if we would affort to continue living in our homes. Yesterday, I was reading an article on CNN website about how the rate of homeless people in Massachussetts has grown. It is not only on that state that we are facing this horrific time, but nationwide. The unemployment rate has grown and continues to grow because people are facing lay-offs, companies are facing bankcrupcy, and the list goes on.
I hope these tough times that we are facing could come to normal times, and once again we all can go back to our normal life.
How is this economy affecting you?...I would like to see your opinion.
Thanks for reading my thoughts and opinion.
